One of the ways we differentiate ourselves at The McKenna Group is the way we will promote the sale of your home like no other real estate brokerage does — especially online and through social media.

If you’re thinking about putting your home on the market, be sure to interview at least two Realtors and ask them if they can do everything listed below.

 WE GET TO KNOW YOU AND YOUR HOME: Great marketing starts with understanding the product you want to promote. We’ll meet with you to learn about your home and everything it has to offer a prospective buyer. Tell us about it, and what you love (or loved) about living there. Tell us about the neighborhood and the schools, and we will include all of these benefits in our promotions.  

STAGING & PHOTOGRAPHY: We will hire an accredited home stager to get your home ready for photos and open houses. Plus, we’ll go through a checklist of more than 20 simple things you can do to get your home looking its best.  When your home is ready, we’ll have our expert real estate photographer take more than 30 high-resolution photos of your home to post online. These images will also be used for a high-quality two-page brochure to be available at open houses and for our agents to distribute.

FOR SALE SIGNS: Time permitting, we place a “Coming Soon” sign topper on your lawn sign before your home is for sale. This creates an opportunity for interest among potential buyers to grow even before they see the inside, which encourages them to bring their best offer to the table once your home hits the market.

OPEN HOUSES: Who visits open houses? Buyers!!  Schedule permitting, we schedule open houses as often as possible — ideally every weekend until your home is sold!  Our Open House program is ongoing throughout your time on market.  Multiple bright-yellow signs and balloons will direct people to your home.  More foot traffic can lead to more offers.

SOCIAL MEDIA: Imagine your listing seen by thousands of eyes within days of hitting the market. Yes, thousands. We have learned how to promote your home better than most. We market your home on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Linkedin! We spend hundreds of dollars to promote our team page and posts so that we get as many buyers as possible asking about your home.

THE MULTIPLE LISTING SERVICE  (MLS): When we enter detailed information about your property into the MLS system, your property gets maximum marketing exposure to Realtors everywhere. Even when your listing isn’t available to the public yet, we will promote it as “Coming Soon” to thousands of agents on the MLS database.

Directly from your listing, interested buyers can immediately call or click to talk to a real live licensed agent, 12 hours per day, seven (7) days a week. Buyers want information fast, and we provide unbelievably prompt service.

ONLINE REAL ESTATE SITES: As part of the Weichert network, we promote your listing to thousands of websites within minutes of your house going live on the market. Ever hear of Zillow, Trulia or Of course! Now imagine your home being at the top of the search results for your location and price range for its first 14 days on the market. We spend money to promote your home because want it to be seen first!

HOMESDATABASE.COM: The MLS also has a website for consumers where active listings are posted in real time. All of our listings are posted with professional photos, and a link back to so that we can respond to their interest quickly.

DIRECT MAIL: We will mail full-color “Just Listed” postcards to the residents of your surrounding neighborhoods. We know that the people who live near your home make trusted referrals to their family and friends! These postcards will direct prospective buyers to a website landing page for your listing, where they will provide their contact information so that we can follow up with them personally.
