McKenna & Vane Donates Stand-Up Desks to Local Teachers

COLUMBIA, Md. / Nov. 17, 2020 — As those throughout the country adjust to a work-from-home setting, the team at Weichert, Realtors® - McKenna & Vane has stepped up to assist teachers in the local community.
The Maryland-based Weichert® affiliate has purchased and donated 10 stand-up desks to local teachers and plans to continue giving away a desk for each home transaction closed through the end of 2020, while supplies last.
“As a large portion of our local teachers are now instructing from home, we thought making this donation would be a great gesture to show our appreciation for all their efforts,” said Michael McKenna, owner of Weichert, Realtors® - McKenna & Vane. “Hopefully this is one small tool to help them adjust to virtual teaching and give them some flexibility in their home offices.”
Weichert, Realtors® - McKenna & Vane has been very active in its community over the years, participating in Toys for Tots, and donating to the local community food banks and holiday food drives.
