Meet Our Property Management Team




Director of Property Management

Shannon Vane joined McKenna & Vane Property Management in 2013 with a background as an investment property owner and as a person with a long-time interest in the real estate industry. Her brother is a broker and her father is a general contractor, which gives her insight into all aspects of renovating, purchasing, selling and renting homes.

Shannon’s primary role is managing the leasing and marketing needs of McKenna & Vane Property Management.“I get along well with a wide range of personalities, and that helps me keep our owners and tenants pleased. I am an investment property owner myself, so I understand how an owner thinks and why they think that way, whether they are a landlord by choice or by necessity.” A sense of accomplishment is what keeps Shannon motivated. She’s faced with many, many tasks during the day, to be managed in a limited time frame. “Crossing an item off the list and knowing that I’ve made someone happy doing it is what keeps me going.”

Now a resident of Frederick, Md., Shannon considers Rockville, Md., her hometown. She enjoys horseback riding and kayaking, and holds a special place in her heart for animals. She is a strong supporter of the Mia Foundation, which is an organization dedicated to giving animals with birth defects a chance to live longer or live better.

Maintenance Coordinator

Bill Partlow joined the McKenna & Vane team in 2011 and serves as the teams Maintenance Coordinator. Bill thrives on the opportunity to help others and in being there when they need him. His 19 years as a sales rep with Coca-Cola prepared him well for meeting urgent demands and handling special requests. The experience also fine-tuned his skills in planning, scheduling, and “bending over backwards to keep the customer happy,” Bill says. Bill enjoys sports, is a troop leader for the Boy Scouts of America, and teaches marriage classes at his church.

Processing Manager

Since joining the organization in May, 2014 as an administration assistant, Julia has been promoted into the role of Processing/Business Manager for the company.

She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance performance from The Boston Conservatory. Originally from Boston, MA, Julia now resides in Columbia, MD with her husband Mark and 3 daughters.  

Julia also enjoys being a Beachbody® coach, celebrating good times with family and friends and helping others start their journey to begin living a healthier lifestyle.
